You’re seeing all these posts about how important sunscreen is, how you should wear sunscreen daily and how it can prevent skin cancer. BUT… you’re also seeing the posts about the crazy ingredients you should avoid, the white cast mineral based sunscreens leave on your skin and how some sunscreens can leave you greasy and shiny.
Let me help!!! I have put together a list of some of our favorite sunscreens. Try them out and see which one is your favorite!!

EltaMD
At $37 this is a tinted sunscreen that is slightly more expensive than some of its competitors but it’s a good one. You can’t go wrong most of the time with most of the EltaMD products
SunBum
I love this brand because it is free of some of the major players in the recent sunscreen controversy, octinoxate & oxybenzone. It is a chemical based sunscreen (which haven’t been shown to cause cancer in general) so you won’t have to worry about the thick layer that some of the mineral based sunscreens can give you. It’s a great beach choice! https://amzn.to/4eJAwBy
Summer Friday’s Shade Drops
You CANNOT go wrong here. It’s amazing. It’s lightweight like a serum, it won’t cake on your face. It has the benefits of Vitamin E and Zinc. It’s soothing and has subtle, lovely scent to it. If you need a sunscreen for daily use, this should be at the top of your list to try.
CeraVe Mineral Sunscreen
While this product can leave a little bit of a shine behind with use, it does blend in well with some time. It’s a little heavier than some of the others but it’s a great product for the price point. $14 will get you 2.5 oz which is sure to last you a while, even with daily use.
